From 1951.

Altamira is the name of a cavern discovered in 1868 that holds one of the most important pre-historical pictorial collections.
Around 13.000 years ago, the fall of a rock blocked the cavern entrance, preventing human occupation and preserving its interior.

Consequence of the need of customizing artistically the furniture leads to the birth of Altamira brand in 1988,maintaining a philosophy of strong connection with art.

With the collaboration of architect Álvaro Siza Vieira or Luis Vidal, Altamira products were distinguished with several Design awards.

Today Altamira experience a new evolution, one that places the brand on the way of major projects of fitting corporate spaces, on the biggest and most important cities of the World. This catalogue presents Altamira products collection.
